Santa Clara County Network for a Hate-Free Community – 2001

About this Video

The County of Santa Clara’s Network for a Hate-Free Community turned to Orloff Marketing in December 2001 after to a dramatic rise in hate crimes and incidents following the events of September 11th. A press conference attended by virtually every news medium in Santa Clara County kicked off our county wide campaign that included radio, television, posters, public service announcements and print ads produced in three languages. Thanks to our strong relationships with the media, we were able to garner free advertisements in local newspapers magazines and on nearly every radio and television station in the area, with donations totaling over $150,000 dollars. This winning campaign earned the Judges Choice Award at the Addy awards locally, and an Award for Excellence for Public Service Television at the Telly Awards, a national competition.
